Companion piece to Sigurd’s Contrast, this hammered gold and sapphire ring suggests a rugged wilderness shore embracing the sparkling blue Boundary Waters. (Seeing it makes us long for wild rice pancakes on a cold morning).

This jewelry is fabricated entirely by hand. Hand fabricated jewelry tends to be more durable than cast jewelry because it’s ‘work hardened’ during the fabrication process. Cold working the metal increases the hardness, tensile strength and yield strength of the metal by as much as 100%. Perfect for those who fully engage Nature.

Flat band 2mm thick and 3.5mm wide. With a bezel set created sapphire, thus guaranteeing your peace of mind regarding social and environmental mining issues. This ring may also be set with the alternate gem of your choice, including diamonds. Please ask.
