Most of us
recognize classic designs when we see them. We may not, however,
fully appreciate the roots of our response to them. This blue and
white combination of sapphires seems suggestive to us of the blue
and white porcelain which has been made in China for centuries. The
fact that both are timeless will be reflected in the compliments
you receive.
Ming is set
with approximately 1.7 carats of princess cut created
sapphires. (5mm center and 4mm sides). Like all
varieties of corundum, sapphires make excellent stones for jewelry
worn every day. They are second in hardness only to diamonds.
Setting
choices include 18k recycled white gold or, or 90/10 recycled
platinum. We craft our own rings, so please ask if you’d like
something different. We’ll do our best to meet your needs.
